About Me

Certified Massage Therapist
and Bodyworker

I have been a massage therapist since August 2007. I completed my professional training at the Heartwood Massage & Bodywork Institute in Garberville, CA, and have spent subsequent years practicing massage both privately and in multiple high-end day spas, as well as continuing my education through various courses in additional massage techniques. Working with a wide variety of clients including athletes, weekend warriors and professionals, my massages are designed to promote both healing and relaxation to leave you feeling better in your body, and more clear headed.

I believe we are all in need of more positive touch in our lives. As our lives become ever more rushed and pressured, we find fewer and fewer opportunities for self-care, not to mention actual physical contact with other people. On the clinical side, massage has been shown to increase circulation, improve respiration, ease digestion, and facilitate recovery from muscular injury and soreness. On the energetic side, it relaxes the body and mind, and calms the spirit. My massage eases you into a slower way of life, where you can lie on a warm table, with gentle music in the background, as calming hands work out life’s stresses.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, movies, cooking, and a good book. Doing things that keep me feeling connected to everything around me is very healing. Getting out into nature and out of the city helps me feel the connection to everything and better recognize my place in the Universe. Helping my clients feel better in their bodies, so they can keep doing the things they love, gives me great satisfaction, and is one of the many reasons why I love my work.
